A Legacy of Love
This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate the kind of love that transforms lives—the love that builds community, offers second chances, and fuels the mission of Van Ness Recovery House. For decades, unconditional love has been at the heart of everything we do, from the compassion of our staff to the unwavering support of our donors and volunteers. It’s love that helps someone take their first step toward recovery, and it’s love that keeps our doors open for those who need it most. This month, we honor the power of love—not just in words, but in action.
Strength, Grit, and Giving Back: It’s Time to Spartan Up!
Alumni of Van Ness Recovery House and La Fuente Hollywood Treatment Center are uniting to tackle the Spartan Race—a grueling test of strength, endurance, and resilience—in support of recovery. This event isn’t just about physical toughness; it mirrors the journey to sobriety, overcoming obstacles one step at a time.
On April 5, 2025, our team will take on this incredible challenge, dedicating every effort to raising critical funds for Van Ness Recovery House. For over 50 years, VNRH has been a lifeline for LGBTQ+ individuals battling addiction, offering a safe and supportive space to heal and rebuild. As we continue to restore and update our beloved home, we are honored to have La Fuente alumni standing with us in this mission.
But we can’t do it alone. You can make a difference by supporting a participant or donating directly to the cause. Every contribution makes a significant impact in keeping our doors open and our services accessible to those who need them most. Simply click the button below and leave a note in the ‘comment’ section to let us know your donation is for the Spartan Race.
Show your support today—because recovery is a team effort!
“Eventually you will come to understand that love heals everything, and love is all there is.”
